| A review of Dying To Live, by Joanne Harvey.
I recently purchased a copy of Dying To Live by Joanne Harvey,
a counselor at Madrone Hospice Inc., Yreka, California.
We all are born, live our life and then die. Life is a
journey and long time learning experience here on earth.
It is not the sting of death, but rather how we live our life
that has meaning and relationships. Joanne Harvey has had
the privilege of helping many people navigate the final days of
their lives.
Joanne has insight, loving, sharing and caring values for each
individual and family members. Every story is different and
yet similar.
Joanne points out: "What would it be like? To know
you are dying and still live your life to the fullest? Death does
not have to crush us with stunning grief."
Death is just as natural as living itself, and we all respond
differently to our final days. Joanne's book; Dying to Live
explains how each of us can experience life and death without
fear.
Each of us can laugh and cry and know that we all are
fundamentally the same.
After our life is over, each of us has left a footprint behind
with friends and relatives that will live long afer we are gone.
Love is the most powerful thing in the universe and Joanne
Harvey captures this philosophy in her book, Dying to Live.
I love the book, please pick up a copy for yourself or a loved
one who is going through the final steps of life's journey.
