Cooking Club

All schools are asked, “Do you have an extra-curricular school-based group, which:

• has met at least six times during the last 12 months to prepare and cook food

• has an adult available to lead the club and is competent to teach club members to prepare and cook food?”

Schools need to make a judgment and decide if they meet these criteria. The definition aims to be clear yet flexible. 

Ultimately the school should know if their existing club is run by a competent adult.

If they have no cooking club they can start their new cooking club.
